I established this organization with a vision of creating opportunities that empower individuals and communities to improve their own lives through agriculture, education, workforce development, entrepreneurship, and meaningful partnerships
Our mission is not to create dependency.
Our mission is to help communities build the knowledge, skills, and opportunities they need to create sustainable futures for themselves.
Although our journey begins in Burkina Faso, our vision extends far beyond one country.
We hope to partner with communities around the world to unlock human potential through education, innovation, collaboration, and opportunity.
I believe that meaningful change is not measured by how much we give people.
It is measured by how many opportunities we help create.
That philosophy will continue to guide every decision we make as Kindness for Humanity grows.
Founder & President, Kindness for Humanity
My name is Palingwende Zango, and I was born and raised in Burkina Faso, a country that taught me the values of hard work, resilience, community, and hope.
From an early age, I was fascinated by technology. I was always curious about how things worked and how innovation could solve problems and improve people’s lives. At the same time, I developed a deep passion for agriculture and farming because I understood their importance to families, communities, and the future of our country. Agriculture was never just about producing food—it represented opportunity, self-reliance, and the ability to create a better future.
In December 2013, I moved to the United States in search of new opportunities and with the determination to build a better future for myself and my family.
Like many immigrants, the journey was challenging. One of my greatest obstacles was the language barrier, as French is my first language. I also faced the uncertainty of finding the right career path while adapting to a new culture, new systems, and a completely different way of life. Those early years taught me resilience, patience, and the importance of never giving up on my dreams.
Through perseverance, continuous learning, and hard work, I eventually discovered my passion for engineering, particularly industrial maintenance and reliability. I found purpose in solving complex technical problems, improving systems, increasing efficiency, and creating solutions that deliver lasting results.
Engineering changed the way I think.
It taught me that lasting solutions are built through careful planning, continuous improvement, teamwork, and innovation. I believe community development should follow those same principles. Instead of providing temporary solutions, we should build sustainable systems that continue creating opportunities long after a project is completed.
The opportunities I found in the United States transformed my life. They allowed me to build a meaningful career, develop valuable skills, and achieve goals that once seemed impossible.
As my career grew, I remained deeply connected to Burkina Faso. Through my business activities, I began helping individuals and families purchase vehicles and goods from the United States. Those experiences kept me closely connected to the aspirations and challenges of the people back home and reinforced a simple but powerful belief.
